Golfing is not just something people do. It is a passion, and just like any other passion, nearly all golfers only want the best equipment. This includes their golf bags. However, how do they know when they are getting a good product for a good price? Most products will have a high end and a low end and purchasing a new golf bag will not be any different. There are several reputable brands out there that golfers are familiar with, and tend to be on the higher end of the price spectrum, but those on the lower end are quality goods as well.

If you are a serious golfer or even thinking about going pro, then you will need quality equipment. How much you pay for that quality is totally up to up you and the amount of money that you want to spend. Some of the higher priced golf bags are made by companies such as Nike Golf, Ogio, Slazenger and Titleist Golf. These companies make a higher end, higher priced golf bag and for the most part are all known by most golfers.

Upon entering a golf store, you will find that there are many golf bags under $150.00 that are of high quality and will not break the bank. A Nike Golf bag is under $100.00, for example. Just slightly over this price is the well-known brand Callaway with their Mini STS bag for $119.99. This is a price that professional golfers and those golfing as a hobby can both respect. The brand Bag Boy also makes the OCB-15 for just under at $99.99. However if you are not looking to spend $100.00 on a golf bag, then there is hope for you and your game. The brand Acuity specializes in lower priced bags that still uphold a standard of quality for men and women. Commonly, their Pro Series bag with a stand costs around $59.99.

While golf bags are not as important as your ensemble of custom golf clubs, balls, golf gloves and golf apparel, their job is to carry some of these items. This does not mean that you do not want a good quality golf bag. The trick is to know how to find that quality. Remember that name brand accessories can be of the highest quality; however, it is possible to find good quality accessories at a lower price as well.

Stack and Tilt:Find Out How a Bit of Stack and Tilt Could Transform Your Game

Stack and Tilt

To drive the ball longer, straighter and more consistently, are three things that every golfer strives to do from the complete novice right through to Tiger Woods. Most of us are plagued by ugly shots from time to time but what if you could eliminate those fat and thin shots for good? Well there is a change happening and it is known as Stack and Tilt and it just may be that your prayer has been answered.

Do you even know about stack and tilt? You probably have as you have found this article but you’re probably not completely clued up as to what it’s all about. If you don’t know about it it is simply a different kind of golf swing which is having an amazing effect on many tour experts - Mike Weir, Aaron Baddeley and Charlie Wi, to mention some of them but so far more than 20 experts have switched to using a Stack and Tilt golf swing.

What is history of Stack and Tilt? Andy Plummer and Mike Bennett are known as the ‘Golf Whisperers’ because of the number of players they have helped to become winners on the tour. It is these men who, following 20 years of experimenting, have created this marvelous new swing which totally contradicts the fundamentals that are taught about ‘the swing’ currently.

The Difference Between The Stack and Tilt Swing and a Traditional Swing Normally when a golfer learns to swing a club he or she is taught to transfer their weight on to their back foot. The problem with this is that what sometimes tends to happen is that the swing bottoms out behind the ball. This then leads to some those terrible shots that make golf so frustrating. What’s different about the Stack and Tilt, however, is that the weight moves forward so the swing bottoms out in front of the ball. This results in a pure, smooth contact that feels totally effortless and not a horrible contact that reverberates up your club into your hands!

It’s really pretty remarkable - the execution of the swing is extremely simple and the benefit is that very quickly you will see that your ball will go further straighter and more consistently than with any other golf swing.

How I Lost 5 Stone With Golf

To a lot of people when you mention golf it comes as somewhat a very boring and tedious game. If you mention that golf is good for exercise, you will probably end up hearing the question, what type of exercise can golf give me?

Well I am going to tell you an individual story of how golf helped me lose over 4 stone in pure mass. I was around 23 years old. I am not a very tall person but I did weigh a very heavy 15 stone, I was one of these people that would just sit in front of the TV and computer all day long and snack out. It became apparent to me that I was over weight when I walked up a small flight of stairs and could barely catch my breath.

Something had to be done before I turned into something that was going to ruin my body for the rest of my life. I first started to try to go to the gym, but it was just too much I was in no physical state to be visiting the gym. Everything I approached to do I just got out of breath. So one of my dear friends suggested that I go to the local golf club and start playing golf, the first thing that came to my mind was how the heck will that help?

But I gritted my teeth and took the plunge, I actually very much enjoyed my first game and it was very rewarding. I got a splash of sunshine and a breath of fresh air. But what was happening to my body was what shocked me I was using all of my muscles without even know. I regularly played 3 times a week and in 5 months I had lost all of my weight. I would definitely recommend golf to anyone.
